What is Math Summer Camp?
- An intensive 3-week review of math to help improve course placement.
- Delivered by means of interactive software and the Internet.
- Available by distance learning.
- Not meant to learn new math.
Who can apply?
The Math Camp is for incoming (direct from high school) students having successfully completed the appropriate math in high school, but not satisfied with math placement results.
Trig Camp: for students that took high school trig but need to take College Trig (MATH 1330 or 1980) to prepare for Calculus.
College Algebra Camp: for students that took at least high school algebra II but need to take College Algebra (MATH 1320) prior to Calculus I or Calculus for Life Sciences I.
Elementary Algebra Camp: for students that took at least high school algebra I but need to take MATH 0910, 0950 or MATH 0980 prior to college level math.
When is Math Summer Camp?
It will be offered July 28 thru August 15. Work must be completed by August 15 and retesting done by August 22 at 3 pm.
